We took the babies to their first KC Royals game against the STL Cardinals. We were a split family with half of us for the Royals, which was Brinley's choice, and half of us for the Cardinals, Cooper's choice (to match his dad). Brinley did very well in the seats and lasted about 3 innings, but Cooper didn't last very long at all :) We were by the stairs and he just wanted to climb on them so we all took turns hanging with him in the corridor. He really liked the escalator so we rode that several times. Then we took them out to the kids section in the outfield which was great. They have a huge jungle gym thing and a carousel which they really liked.

14 Months
A few updates on what the babies have been up to. Cooper is now also walking! He gets extremely excited about it and just laughs like a mad man as he walks around. This probably slowed down his progress a little because he's also a huge show-off and wants to make sure everybody is watching him walk and then he laughs so much and then he gets distracted and would fall down!
The nanny has been working on sign language with them for months but nothing was registering with them until a couple weeks ago. Now they are picking up signs very quickly. They sign eat, more, all done, and hat. Brinley really has picked it up. Just out of the blue a couple weeks ago, about breakfast time she went to her highchair and frantically starting signing "eat". It was so cute!
It just is amazing how fast they are learning things now and how observant they are. It just seems like the light bulb has really gone on for them lately. They know which button turns on and off the tv on the remote and they aim the remote towards the tv, how to turn on the baby swing, how to turn on their crib mobiles and the sound machine, how to turn on the screens on our phone and swipe with their thumbs on our phones. Things that we haven't shown them, they just watch I guess and mimic. They can mimic pretty much any sound you make with your mouth and are trying really hard to mimic words we say to them. They also can do simple commands like handing us stuff when we tell them and playing with certain toys we tell them to (especially balls). They both know what sound the sheep makes when you ask (baaaaaa). Cooper is really into putting stuff in baskets and taking them all out again (like my basket of lotions I keep in our room, anytime you can't find Cooper you know he's in our room emptying the basket of stuff).
They ALWAYS want to be outside and we spend a lot of time on our screened in porch. We're having a little bit of an issue with biting. Like they bite each other. Oh, and they like to give us kisses and then bite our lips. No bleeding yet so I guess we're managing it!
They are still great eaters, though sometimes Cooper gets an entire meal of just fruit because he won't eat anything else. I've never seen someone love fruit as much as him. We can hand both of them a whole small piece of fruit (like an apricot) and they will eat it whole. We just watch til they get close to the pit and take it out for them. They both have their four top teeth and two bottom teeth. They're drinking almond milk now instead of whole milk as Brinley was having some digestive issues. We're hoping to get back to 2% cows milk soon though (cows milk alternatives are soo expensive!). We tried giving Cooper whole milk and just Brin the almond milk to save some money on it but she loves milk so much that she always finishes her cup and then finishes the left overs of his and they also swap cups back and forth a lot, so they both have to be on the same milk then.
Some pictures.

We're in Trouble Now
Cooper is now walking. We've already spent one night out chasing them all over the place as they both kept walking in separate directions. Lord help us now!!!

Family Time
The babies have been able to spend some time with my family recently. Brandon was turkey hunting so my sister Ashley came to visit for the weekend.

| Cooper was actually trying to hug Brin here. They've been doing better about not being so mean towards each other and almost giving each other hugs sometimes. |

| They are really into trying to feed us their food lately. |
Then Brandon and I went to Bennett Springs for the weekend for our 2nd anniversary, and the babies spent the weekend with my parents.

Toddle Time
Our nanny and her daughter have started to take the babies to a play time one morning a week. They really enjoyed playing with all of the new toys, and I think it's great to get them out of the house and around other kids more.
