The babies are now 15 months old. The last couple months we've seen such a huge growth in their development, and it's really getting fun. They are each saying about 5 words plus the sign language that they do, and it's made things way easier to be able to communicate with them better. You can tell them to go get something (a book, a ball, etc), and they know what you want and will get it. Brinley has developed a real passion for "helping" and likes to bring you your things that you leave around - stuff out of purses, your shoes (which she'll insist on your putting on), etc. She's really into shoes (that's one of the words she says) and goes into their closet pointing and saying 'shz" until you put some shoes on her. She also likes to get a washcloth/tissue and wipe her own face with it or help you clean off the coffee table when something spills. She's really gotten into reading books now and loves to get a book and plop herself in your lap to read. She likes to read by herself too (usually while she's walking around) and will point at things on the pages (like I do when I read to her) and "read" out loud to herself. Cooper is really into playing "catch" now and has got a really strong throwing arm. However, sometimes he likes to get right in your face and throw a ball at you which isn't always fun (he throws hard!). He also is big into clapping for himself after he makes a good throw! You can tell them its bedtime, and they'll walk back to their rooms to get in their beds, which is really nice. We went through a slight biting phase but they seem to be mostly done with that. They get into it with each other often, usually wanting to play with the same toys etc but they seem to be doing better about just moving on (usually after one last smack on the other) rather than throwing fits. Cooper had a big fit throwing phase but that seems to have gotten better lately too. Cooper is really into "giving loves" to everybody and loves to hug on Brinley (which is a switch where she used to be the one wanting to hug on him). She of course doesn't like him touching her. (Remember this used to be the other way around, she wanted to hug him and he hated it). They both love to dance especially to the Mickey Mouse tv show "hot dog" theme song at the end.
They are still taking two naps a day, about 1.5 hrs each, and sleeping from 7pm to 7am. These babies like to sleep!!! But we know that's the main reason they are such good babies all the time, they are well rested. They are wearing 18 month clothing and size 4 diapers. They seem to eat a TON and don't have very many dislikes. Cooper doesn't eat much meat sometimes but is very very into fruit, while Brinley is more of a meat eater.
Their stats:
Brinley
Weight: 23 lbs 10 oz (75th percentile)
Height: 30.5 in (50th percentile)
Head Circumference: 18 in (50th percentile)
Cooper
Weight: 22 lbs 13 oz (25th percentile)
Height: 31 in (50th percentile)
Head Circumference: 18 in (20th percentile)
Brinley outweighs Cooper now!

Swimming Pool
We got a family pool pass to the 2 local Shawnee pools. The nanny is also going to take them during the week as well. We went for the first time Saturday. They have a really great kids area with knee deep or less water for the babies and lots of fun things to play with. Cooper really just liked walking around the outside of the pool and people watching too though. Brinley wanted to climb on all the things that were too big for her that she wasn't supposed to be on.

Deana Rose & AWG Carnival
Our nanny and her daughter are now taking the babies to some different activities around the city during the week. It's so nice now that they're getting older to be able to have them get out and about.
They went to Deana Rose Farmstead and really liked seeing all the animals there.
Brandon's sister Kala had a work festival thing so her and his mom, aunt, and cousins took them there. They got their faces painted, played in the bounce house and ate good food.

Swim Lessons
The babies have been busy lately now that it's summer and nice weather (when not raining).
We started swim lessons at the local Y. It's a parent/tot class just to get them used to being in the water. They do really well! Cooper does very well but is a little more cautious :) He loves throwing the plastic toys and then "swimming" after them and thinks me blowing bubbles is really funny and he'll try to do it too. Brinley absolutely loves it, puts her face in the water no problem (and now won't quit doing it in the bathtub too) and just has no fear. The instructor after the first class told me that she did amazing and he was very impressed for someone her age and that had never been in the pool!
