1st Birthday Party!

I can't believe it, the babies are ONE!!  We had a great birthday party for them at our house this past Saturday.  It was a camoflauge/pink themed party.

 CAKE SMASH!!!!!

They ate their cake pretty much like they eat their dinner. Brinley used her two little fingers to delicately pick up pieces of the cake. She really liked it though and was eating very quickly and started smearing the icing all over her face.  Cooper was a little unsure of everything at first (he took a really long morning nap and woke up after everybody was already here so was a little dazed the first part of the party), but he warmed up to the cake and then had a really good time smearing green icing all over himself.





 

Grandma Summers going to clean off this messy boy! The green icing might not have been the best idea. He was tinted green for a day or so.

 

 They received so many nice presents, and a lot of stuff for outside when the weather gets nicer and for our screened in patio.  Here they are in their lawnchairs from Aunt Mary Lou (Brinley really likes the Mickey and Minnie pictures on the chairs), and then below in their swings from the Summers Grandparents.  We hung those in the patio and they REALLY love swinging outside!
