Brinley got her first sponge bath Friday morning. It appears the nurse is scrubbing her so hard but the brush is soo soft and she really did like it, regardless of her extremely high pitched screaming!

When they do something like this and have them out of the incubators for awhile, that was all we got to hold her for the day. It just makes them too tired and is too much work for them at this point. Cooper didn't get his bath until Monday morning (and we missed it since I was checking out) because the nurse didn't think he was quite ready for the experience yet. Though smaller than him by several ounces, Brinley has been just slightly ahead of little brother Cooper in reaching milestones. This is apparently typical of girls vs boys in the NICU.
